What a week in Amsterdam!
IBC 2026 brought together four days of great conversations, live demonstrations, new ideas, and connections from across the broadcast and media industry.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by Booth 7.B15 to meet the Matrox Video team, explore our technology, and talk about where live production is headed next.

Software-defined production was a major part of the conversation at IBC 2026. But more importantly, we had the opportunity to show what it looks like in practice.
Across the show floor, Matrox ORIGIN was at the heart of multi-vendor demonstrations exploring how open, interoperable software-defined production environments can work today.
We announced a new integration with NVIDIA Holoscan for Media, bringing Matrox ORIGIN media services into a Kubernetes-native environment and demonstrating the integration as part of the EBU's Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) showcase.
We also joined forces with EVS to combine its orchestration capabilities with Matrox ORIGIN's software-defined media foundation, helping bring more flexible, resource-driven production environments to life.
And those were just two examples. From the EBU and Qvest to AWS and beyond, Matrox ORIGIN was part of interoperability demonstrations across IBC, connecting technologies and ideas from across the industry.
The vision is DMF. MXL helps enable media exchange within that vision. And Matrox ORIGIN provides the foundation developers can use to start putting it into practice today.

This wasn't your typical tradeshow demo.
For the first time in its 25-year history, Targa Newfoundland was produced and streamed live from remote roads in Newfoundland to centralized production in Waterloo, Ontario, and onward to viewers around the world.
At IBC, visitors to the Matrox Video booth could watch the race live, as Dejero, Matrox Video, GlobalM, and others worked together across a real-world remote production workflow spanning thousands of kilometres.
No simulation. No staged demo. Just a real rally, happening in real time, and a real-world example of what’s possible when technologies work together.
Fast cars. Live feeds. One seriously cool production.
The transition to IP doesn't happen all at once.
At IBC 2026, we showcased how Matrox Video supports customers wherever they are on that journey, from trusted, deployment-ready IP solutions to the software-defined technologies helping shape what comes next.
Across our demonstrations, one idea remained constant: giving customers the flexibility to build on what works today while keeping their options open for tomorrow.

There was also plenty to celebrate at Booth 7.B15.
We marked 50 years of Matrox innovation with customers, colleagues, and industry friends during our IBC Happy Hour.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, raised a glass with us, and helped make this milestone even more memorable.
Five decades down, and we're excited for what's still to come.
Technology gives us plenty to talk about. IBC gives us the chance to do it face to face.
Thank you to everyone who visited Booth 7.B15, joined a demo, shared a challenge, asked a question, or simply stopped by to say hello.
We loved seeing you in Amsterdam.

Thank you for making IBC 2026 one to remember.
