InfoComm 2026 was a memorable one for the Matrox Video team. We introduced the Matrox Maevex MGX Series, a true paradigm shift for AV-over-IP industry, AND celebrated 50 years of innovation. It was a week well spent connecting with customers, collaborators, and industry peers from around the world.
Introducing the Maevex MGX Series
InfoComm 2026 marked the debut of the Maevex MGX Series of AV & USB over IP encoders and decoders.
Designed to fundamentally change the way the industry moves video, Maevex MGX delivers 4K60 4:4:4 content at just 50 Mbps with industry-leading low latency and dramatically lower bandwidth requirements than traditional ProAV codecs.

Celebrating 50 Years
This year also marked a major milestone for Matrox Video: 50 years of innovation.
To celebrate, we hosted a special cocktail hour with customers, collaborators, and industry friends. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, reflect on how far we've come, and celebrate the people who have been part of our journey.
