At ISE Spark, Dan Maloney took the stage to explore “Immersion as a Medium: Crafting Emotionally Powerful Environments for Large-Scale Live Events.” His session looked beyond scale and spectacle to examine how immersive design can create genuine emotional connection.
Dan unpacked the importance of sensory harmony across audio, lighting, scenic, and media elements, and showed how venue architecture itself becomes an active part of the storytelling canvas. Drawing on real-world experience, he highlighted how multidisciplinary teams align to deliver cohesive environments—and what ultimately makes an experience feel lived rather than simply watched.
