NAB Show 2026 Recap

A great week in broadcast

NAB Show 2026 was a busy one—in the best way. Between great conversations, live demos, and seeing familiar (and new) faces, it was a chance to show how broadcast workflows are evolving—and how teams are actually putting that into practice. Across everything we shared, one theme stood out: making IP-based and cloud workflows easier to deploy, manage, and scale.

Scaling broadcast in the cloud with Amagi

One of the big moments for us at the show was announcing our collaboration with Amagi. It’s about giving broadcasters and content owners a more flexible way to manage and deploy playout using a combination of software-defined infrastructure and cloud services.

What this supports:

  • Cloud-based broadcast workflows
  • Scalable deployment models
  • Integration between Matrox ORIGIN and Amagi’s platform
  • More flexible infrastructure for modern broadcast environments
  • Emerging industry models such as the Dynamic Media Facility (DMF)

EVS + Avio 2: expanding what IP control can do

Another highlight: seeing our collaboration with EVS come to life on the show floor.

With EVS Cerebrum now enabling NMOS-based USB routing for Matrox Avio 2, we’re extending IP orchestration beyond audio and video—bringing KVM control into the same ecosystem.

It’s a practical and important setup. The more things you can control within a unified, standards-based environment, the easier it is to run efficient live productions.

What this means in practice:

  • Route USB control between Avio 2 units
  • Bring KVM into your IP media workflows
  • Work within open, NMOS-based standards
  • Reduce friction across production systems

If you visited us at the booth—thanks for being part of such a great week. And if we didn’t get the chance to connect, we’d still love to continue the conversation.
